We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Pharmacist to work in one of our renowned travel clinics in Ipswich as a Lead Clinician and Registered CQC Manager.


About The Opportunity
MASTA (Medical Advisory Service for Travellers Abroad), was established over 30 years ago and we now run the largest network of private travel clinics in the UK. Part of the McKesson Group, we have well established partnerships with Lloyds Pharmacy, Independent Pharmacy Chains and STA and combined with our clinics based in NHS and Occupational Health establishments; we have a nationwide network, with more clinics planned in the future.

As the Lead Clinician, you will be responsible for the day to day management of the travel clinic whilst also carrying out clinical duties You will also be delivering risk assessment, advice, vaccinations, malaria prophylaxis and other travel related medicines.

The clinic is open Monday-Saturday, but the role is flexible, and we can offer either a full-time position, or a part-time position 2-3 days per week.

About You

Customers and communities are at the heart of everything we do. So, first and foremost, you’ll be the kind of person who loves to provide exceptional customer care. You must be a Registered Pharmacist and if you don’t have a qualification in Travel Health, then at least real passion for travel health is a must. You will need to have exceptional communication skills to deal with a range of stakeholders, and be able to demonstrate effective leadership skills.
