About the opportunity
McKesson is looking to recruit an IT Service Desk Analyst to our IT team based at our UK Head office in Coventry.
As an IT Service Desk Analyst you will act as the first point of contact for colleagues abd customers across McKesson, such as our LloydsPharmacy colleagues and our independent pharmacy customers. You will help to resolve their queries over the phone or escalate as appropriate in an effective and timely manner in line with our IT Service processes.
You will be provided with all the training needed to support your customers effectively, be and provided with a ‘buddy’ from day one to help bring you up to speed. Our IT Service Desk provides a fantastic platform for an aspiring IT professional to gain exposure to a large, complex IT department of over 170 people. You’ll be provided with a range of progression opportunities to explore, either through IT Service, or other areas of our IT department or project teams.
If you are passionate about a career in IT, with a proven track record in a customer-facing technical role then this could be the opportunity for you. This would be ideally suited to a current 1st Line Support professional looking to progress their career to the next level.
To be considered, you’ll be a strong communicator with proven customer service skills. We want to hear a passion for technology, and see a personality that thrives in a busy, collaborative environment and working under pressure. You will preferably come with some relevent academic or professional IT qualifications.
