About the opportunity
You will be joining a large HR team who support and payroll 24,000 colleagues across the UK. In this newly created role as the HR systems Manager you will ensure that the ERP HR & Payroll Systems become a key enabler of our organisation through leading the design and implementation of our integrated systems; responsible for the development and delivery of the HR Technology roadmap in line with the Group HR strategy.
You will lead the HR Systems technical support team and enable the development of the HR service channels. By facilitating technology improvements you will support HR & Payroll services for the organisation’s operations by evolving, recommending and implementing sound HR initiatives.
This is a key role where you will drive, manage and deliver the Group HR Management Information strategy in line with Group HR strategy and business needs.
It is essential you have an extensive understanding and experience of working with large ERP solutions. You will have a strong grasp on leading HR IS and payroll technologies in a complex and large business support function, ideally a shared services environment. Will excellent project management skills you will also demonstrate where you have had strong financial control and managed substantial budgets.
You will be a confident and engaging communicator able to influence at senior and operational levels. As the role will manage a small team you will also possess excellent leadership abilities.
