About the role
What does being a part of our warehouse or transport team involves? It involves you getting to help make sure millions of people get the life-changing medications they need, through our distribution network to pharmacies, hospitals and GPs across the country. It also means you’ll be getting to work alongside highly skilled, experienced colleagues who are passionate about making a real difference.
As a Warehouse Operative you will be a key member of the team making sure our products are where they need to be and get there in the perfect condition. Once the relevant in-house training is complete, you will work across a variety of warehouse functions, ensuring high standards are maintained and targets are met at all times.
You will be encouraged to pass on time saving and process improvement ideas as the overall goal for all AAH employees is to assist in delivering an efficient, safe and vital healthcare service to our customers.
You will also be responsible for the safe operation and upkeep of all warehouse equipment whilst always maintaining high standards of health and safety.
Progression is readily available across the business, with natural progression from this role being to a Warehouse Supervisor. You could also look at moving into other areas of the warehouse operation or into a regional or support centre based role.
Every day, millions of people rely on AAH Pharmaceuticals to deliver their medicines. We work hard to provide the NHS with a safe, efficient and cost-effective way to get healthcare products from manufacturers to dispensing points all over the country.
We’re also part of McKesson, a Fortune Global 500 company using the latest technology and services to provide leading integrated healthcare solutions. Join us and you’ll enjoy the development and perks that come with it, including 20 days’ holiday (plus bank holidays), a pension scheme, colleague discounts and much more.
