About the department
You will be joining our Legal and Compliance team of eighteen colleagues working alongside four legal counsel reporting into the head of the department.
About the opportunity
This is a newly created role to help reduce our external legal costs on property matters by providing in-house legal support to McKesson UK in relation to its property portfolio.
You will need to develop strong working relationships with our forty strong property and estates team by gaining their trust and respect to be the ‘go to’ person for any legal property queries.
You will also manage the existing relationship with our external providers on an ongoing basis, again building strong professional relationships.
If you are currently working for a large private practice, with thorough knowledge of property and real estate, this is a fantastic opportunity to move to your first in house role.
Alternatively, if you are already working in-house specialising in property, this could also be the new challenge you are looking for.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment as part of a team with the ability to influence and build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You will therefore need to demonstrate excellent communication skills and be a true team player.
It is essential you are a qualified solicitor with over three years PQ experience and possess thorough knowledge of England and Wales property law.
