About the opportunity
now is an exciting time to join our Inventory and Supply Chain division, as the McKesson business embarks on multiple transformational change projects to help shape our end-to-end supply chain offering into a market leading proposition.
You will be delivering excellent customer service to suppliers and their inventory as will act as the primary day to day contact for key suppliers and customers.
In this role, you will be accountable for delivering product availability across our AAH distribution network and ensuring customer fulfillment targets are met. To support this you will create and analyse product/SKU demand profiles to understand areas of underperformance and look to take action to improve these measures.
You will own the system configuration and any parameter changes to ensure that optimal performance is being achieved from our in house systems to work towards managing on time in full supplier delivery performance.
Our Supply Analysts are career minded and have a mind-set which is geared towards learning and personal development. You will need a solid understanding of Excel and be comfortable create pivot tables, working with formulas and V-Look ups; VBA would be a benefit but is not essential.
As well as an analytical background, communication skills and the ability to build relationships is key in this role as you will be working with external suppliers and internal stakeholders on a daily basis to deliver a great service and collaborate on improving systems and processes.
Whilst knowledge of systems like SAP, JDA or Retek would be beneficial it is not essential as training can be provided.
