Coventry - 37.5 hours a week 

4 month Contract

This is a busy and fast paced role where you will plan and manage the rota for pharmacists ensuring that all pharmacies open with a qualified pharmacist.

You will build and maintain excellent professional relationships with Locums and Locum Agencies and Relief Pharmacists and through relationship building, converting locums to employed pharmacists

You will proactively manage costs of pharmacist cover ensuring that the most cost effective solution is found, whilst maintaining high levels of service and consistency in individual pharmacies, and ensure that all invoices are processed accurately and on time.

Liaising with Area Managers on a regular basis you will communicate rota and potential issues and to provide solutions to any ongoing issues within the area and provide support provided to team members as well as team of Area Administrators

You will provide your team leader with all routine and ad hoc reports in an accurate and timely manner to include – locum costs, KPI, SLA, Pharmacist absence and holiday data. Plus ensure that pharmacy closures are reported in a timely manner to CCGs and Superintendent’s Office

Working as part of a team you will respond to all telephone calls, queries and e-mails with the SLAs agreed and undertake any other appropriate tasks as requested by Rota Team Leader and provide support to regional administration team when appropriate


It is essential you have excellent communication skills and be customer focused.

Using our systems daily you will possess sound knowledge of MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook

This role is based at our Support Centre in Coventry, Walsgrave Triangle, CV2 2TX. We are located just off junction 2 of the M6, easily accessible by car. If using public transport, we are 5.5 miles from Coventry train station, approx. 40 minutes by bus from the station.
