Competitive Salary + 25 days holiday

37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday (7.5 hours a day ranging from 8.30am - 5.30pm) 

An opportunity has arisen to develop and progress an exciting HR career within Celesio UK. You will be joining a HR function of 100 people supporting 23,000 colleagues across the UK with HR queries.

We currently have several opportunities for a HR Assistant to join our customer focused Human Resources function on a fixed term contract basis.

Reporting to the HR Team Leader, the purpose of this role is to support the HR Services team with a range of internal customer related queries. This will involve a range administration duties and handling incoming telephone calls.

We are looking for someone with either strong administration gained in an office enviroment (word and excel are essential), good communication skills and who is comfortable on the telephone and/or has previous experience within a HR role.

You will also need to be well organised and able to prioritise your workload effectively. You will have the ability to work accurately under pressure, within a very busy and dynamic team environment.

Long term there will be opportunities to apply for permanent positions as and when they become available.


This role is based at our Support Centre in Coventry, Walsgrave Triangle, CV2 2TX. We are located just off junction 2 of the M6, easily accessible by car. If using public transport, we are 5.5 miles from Coventry train station, approx. 40 minutes by bus from the station.
