A new opportunity has become available for an experienced Field Sales Manager to join our growing sales division at AAH / Celesio.
AAH is a leading wholesale distributor of pharmaceutical and healthcare products serving independent pharmacies, hospitals and doctors nationwide.
Our Field Sales Managers operate as the primary (single) point of contact and account manager for Independent Pharmacies, responsible for identifying, designing, and selling our wholesale propositions.
In doing so, the Field Sales Manager will be expected to provide and manage the delivery of a cost effective and profitable solution that satisfies the customer and business requirements.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to oversee the sales within a geographically defined region in the UK, where you will be able to identify opportunity and grow our business to contribute to Celesio UK’s wider business objectives.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
•To maintain knowledge of, and report upwards on, new developments in the Independent Pharmacy market place, especially with regard to accounts and prospects.
•To build & implement a sales plan based on segment/territory intelligence & knowledge & matching value propositions to customer needs.
•To actively develop customer relationships in support of account contact strategy.
•To maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by co-ordinating with an internal matrix team to ensure customer complaints, enquiries or concerns are dealt with promptly.
•Use the specialist sales team and central resources where required to support the development and delivery of required customer solution
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working within fast moving sales business, selling & delivering a complex portfolio of products in a field based capacity. Previous exposure to FMCG, Pharmacy or the Healthcare Industry would be highly beneficial but not essential.
To succeed in this role, the Field Sales Manager will be commercially astute with the ability to manage multiple accounts and develop them successfully. He/she will have proven experience in selling complex propositions/solutions to customers and comfortable working a fast paced environment.
Due to the travel involved with this vacancy a full UK driving Licence will be required. The successful applicant will be expected to travel to the Celesio HQ in Coventry on a monthly basis for team meetings.
