On the back of a significant period of change, Celesio UK is looking to recruit for a new PMO Manager to join a newly created Business Change and Transformation function at our head office in Coventry.
Reporting to the Head of Change, the PMO Manager will hold responsibility for the creation and management of the enterprise PMO for the business in a greenfield environment; leading the implementation of PMO initiatives and supporting leadership teams across the business to achieve a positive, measurable impact to project and programme delivery.
Starting with initial PMO maturity analysis, you will lead the development of this capability from cradle to grave to implement new PMO frameworks and ensure a consistent, process-driven approach to each stage of the project/programme delivery lifecycle.
You will be the owner of all governance, tools and materials relating to project management, controls, and methodologies. You will champion best practice across the organisation and ensure effective communication to affected teams and the wider business as appropriate.
To be successful in your application for the PMO Manager position, you will have a track record of success in the development and implementation of enterprise-level PMO frameworks in large scale organisations.
Your experience leading and developing PMO functions will be coupled with a background in Project/Programme delivery, with a broad PMO toolset developed from a wide range of experiences from different project environments.
You will be a knowledgeable and passionate curator for project management best practice, with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills to educate, coach and mentor the business through change.
A breadth of knowledge across Waterfall, Agile, Kanban, and SAFe methodologies is preferred.
