Celesio UK, a pioneering provider of integrated healthcare services, have an exciting opportunity for a Group Quality & Regulatory Manager to join our growing Quality & Regulatory department within AAH Pharmaceuticals.

As the Group Quality and Regulatory Manager, he/she will be accountable for driving & establishing the quality strategic direction for the Celesio UK network, through a robust quality risk management framework. The successful applicant will ensure continued compliance with internal standards, current MHRA - Good Distribution Practice, ISO Standards, regulatory, and manufacturer requirements.

A key element of this role will be focussed on developing strategic plans and implementing initiatives that provides quality solutions and drives Celesio as an industry leading partner. He/she will establish a quality vision and culture of continuous improvement across the Celesio UK network that will add value to both internal and external customers.

To succeed in this role the Group Quality and Regulatory Manager will act as a key contributor to external audits (client/regulatory bodies incl. MHRA) and will have overall responsibility for the management and monitoring of CAPA.

The successful applicant will be expected to work collaboratively across all aspects of the business to maintain and raise quality and compliance awareness and manage/maintain ISO accreditations.

Other responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Management of the Quality Systems Team, Quality Audit and Supplier Assurance functions to ensure the day to day quality activities, regulatory, and customer/client requirements are maintained
  • Work with Lean/Six Sigma experts throughout Celesio UK and across Europe to advance best practice and Quality Improvements
  • Deputise for the Head of Quality and Regulatory and at Senior Management and Board level

This role is perfect for a qualified Pharmacist with experience in Lean Six Sigma principles, looking for a new challenge within an established and growing Q&R department.


The successful candidate will be a Qualified Responsible Person (RP) and possess a recognised business or management qualification or be able to demonstrate experience of managing people.

He/she will be well versed in the practical application of cGDP/cGMP requirements within a quality environment, along with ability to see the bigger picture and to consider strategic implications, with previous exposure to commercial & strategic thinking.

As the Group Quality and Regulatory Manager, it is essential that you possess strong leadership skills with a clear ability to communicate & influence at a senior level. He/she will be confident in identifying and driving change with the ability to oversee the successful implementation of key projects.

Exposure to lean Six Sigma or a Green Belt/Yellow Belt accreditation, couple with basic Legal training & qualifications would be highly advantageous.
