A unique opportunity has become available for a Field Based - Technical Support Engineer to join our growing Fulfilment & Supply Chain team at AAH / Celesio.

Now is an exciting time to join our Fulfilment & Engineering division, as the Celesio business embarks on multiple transformational change projects to help shape our end-to-end supply chain and in-house engineering capability into a market leading proposition.

As the Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for adding additional engineering resource to our AAH Operation & Branch network in the UK North, supporting our site engineering teams in areas such as fault finding, root cause analysis, major overhaul work and providing engineering cover to release engineers for training & development.

Within this Field based role the successful applicant will be expected to support our Automation Developers in project design and implementation, whilst assisting sites in obtaining compliance to engineering standards and providing training for the site engineering teams.

A key element of this role will be focussed on ensuring suitable and sufficient engineering resource is available across all of our AAH branches, by supplementing as and when required.

This opportunity is prefect for an ambitious Maintenance Engineer with good fault finding & root cause analysis capability, that enjoys field based travel and now looking for a new challenge where they can carve a successful career with an innovative healthcare & pharmaceutical organisation.


The ideal applicant will possess a HNC or equivalent in an engineering discipline alongside a recognised Engineering apprenticeship. He/she will have an Electrical Bias with mechanical upskilling OR Mechanical Bias with Electrical upskilling.

To succeed in this role it is essential that the Technical Support Engineer has proven experience of carrying out engineering maintenance on automated plant and equipment, ideally from an FMCG/Automotive or distribution/warehousing systems background.

He/she will be confident in their ability to train other site engineers and possess strong fault finding and root cause analysis skills.

Please note that this opportunity will encompass travel to other AAH Branches across the UK, so a valid UK driving license will be required
