To support our family of Celesio businesses in the UK there are over 1,000 colleagues in our support centre, with over 200 in Finance. We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our innovative organisation for an Assistant Payroll Cost Analyst within our Finance team.
This role will involve driving the reporting of multiple Business Unit Payroll costs, as well as ensuring effective controls are in place. Collaboration with the wider finance team is essential to ensure transparency and accuracy of information from finance into the business.
You will produce data analysis in a number of presentational formats targeted on the ease of use for the end user within required timelines and reports as agreed for key stakeholders in the business.
Taking ownership of manipulating existing payroll data you will enable smooth processing into the financial systems and create the quarterly and annual bonus payments based on current models
You will be responsible for Ensuring financial controls are monitored and in place and be the point of contact of internal and external audit liaison plus ensuring compliance to SOx Controls
This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong analytical mind-set and excellent Excel skills (lookups,pivots,sumifs) to join our busy finance team.

This role is based at our Support Centre in Coventry, Walsgrave Triangle, CV2 2TX. We are located just off junction 2 of the M6, easily accessible by car. If using public transport, we are 5.5 miles from Coventry train station, approx. 40 minutes by bus from the station.
