A unique opportunity has become available for a Senior Engineering Manager to join our growing Fulfilment & Engineering team at AAH / Celesio.

Now is an exciting time to join our Fulfilment & Supply Chain division, as the Celesio business embarks on multiple transformational change projects to help shape our end-to-end supply chain offering into a market leading proposition.

The Senior Engineering Manager will be spending their first 6 months working in our AAH Glasgow Branch, supporting with project management of essential maintenance works and addressing H&S and productivity risks.

Reporting directly to the AAH General Manager, the Senior Engineering Manager will be responsible for managing the systems function within the branch, ensuring that the branch automated systems run to optimum efficiency in accordance with AAH/PEEM guidelines.

He/she will also be accountable for upskilling our existing team of engineers in Glasgow, whilst creating a new engineering culture of excellence to include workshops, stores tools, standards & procedures.

After 6 months, the successful applicant will then be expected to travel & provide engineering management support to other AAH sites across the UK North, creating and embedding engineering environment standards and supporting teams with their site upgrade/refit projects

This role is prefect for a seasoned Engineering Manager or Senior Maintenance Engineer, looking for a new challenge where they can carve a successful career with an innovative healthcare & pharmaceutical organisation.

Requirements:

The ideal applicant will possess an Electrical engineering qualification alongside proven commercial experience within a production engineering environment. He/she will be confident in their people management and leadership skills, with a clear ability to motivate, develop, performance manage and communicate effectively.

As the Senior Engineering Manager, it is important that you have strong project management skills and the ability to act decisively whilst solving staff or equipment-related problems.

To succeed in this role, he/she will be confident in automation installations with 3rd party suppliers and capable working under pressure, whilst motivating others in order to meet tight deadlines.

Please note that this role will encompass travel to other AAH Branches in the UK North, so a valid UK driving license will be required
